Die Hochschule Rhein-Waal (HSRW) stärkt mit ihrem vierstufigen PRO4-HSRW-Programm die Förderung des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses mit dem Ziel der Weiterentwicklung des Karriereweges zur Fachhochschulprofessur. Als dritter Stufe des Projektes PRO4-HSRW ist die neue 12+1-Zukunftsprofessur vorgesehen.

Das 12+1-Programm der HSRW soll sich vor allem an Frauen und genderdiverse Personen in der Wissenschaft richten, an eine Gruppe, die aufgrund struktureller Benachteiligung eine ebenfalls strukturelle Unterstützung erfahren soll.

Zukunftsprofessorinnen im Projekt PRO4-HSRW

Im Rahmen des Projekts konnten nun mit Prof. Dr. Simone Pauling, Prof. Dr. Corinna Titze und Prof. Dr. Mona Wappler drei Professorinnen der HSRW für eine 12+1-Zukunftsprofessur benannt werden. Das Gesamtvorhaben führt zu einer nachhaltigen Stärkung und Entwicklung des professoralen Personals an der HSRW. Es hat Modellcharakter für die Karriereentwicklung des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses in Gänze und wird im Rahmen des Bund-Länder-Programms ‚FH-Personal‘ gefördert.

Prof. Dr. Corinna Titze
Fakultät Gesellschaft und Ökonomie

Prof. Dr. Corinna Titze studierte Psychologie (Dipl.-Psych.) und promovierte an der mathematisch-naturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Heinrich-Heine-Universität zu Düsseldorf. Im Anschluss absolvierte sie Fort- und Weiterbildungen in den Bereichen Mediation sowie systemische Paar- und Familientherapie.

Sie arbeitete als Sachverständige in familiengerichtlichen Begutachtungsverfahren zu Fragen der Kindeswohlgefährdung als auch des Umgangs- und Sorgerechts. Darüber hinaus war sie als Therapeutin im ambulanten und teilstationären Kinder- und Jugendbereich im LVR-Klinikum tätig. Zuletzt war sie als Psychologin in der Regionalen Schulberatungsstelle des Kreises Wesel beschäftigt. Dr. Titze ist als Professorin mit dem Schwerpunkt Angewandte Psychologie an die Fakultät Gesellschaft und Ökonomie der Hochschule Rhein-Waal berufen worden. Ihr zentraler Forschungsschwerpunkt ist das Thema der Emotionsarbeit, bei dem es um das Erleben, Einsetzen und Verarbeiten von Emotionen sowie deren Auswirkungen auf die mentale Gesundheit im Arbeitsalltag geht. Im Fokus der Forschung stehen pädagogische Fachkräfte.

Future-professors in the project PRO4-HSRW

As part of the project, three female professors from the HSRW, Prof. Dr. Simone Pauling, Prof. Dr. Corinna Titze und Prof. Dr. Mona Wappler have been nominated for a 12+1 Future Professorship. The overall project leads to a sustainable strengthening and development of the professorial staff at the HSRW. It is a model character for the career development of young academics and is funded within the framework of the federal-state program ‘FH-Personal’.

Prof. Dr. Corinna Titze
Fakultät Gesellschaft und Ökonomie

Prof. Dr. Corinna Titze studied psychology (Dipl.-Psych.) and received her doctorate from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. Subsequently, she completed further education and training in the areas of mediation as well as systemic couple and family therapy. She worked as an expert witness in family court appraisal proceedings on issues of child welfare as well as access and custody rights. In addition, she worked as a therapist in emergency and day-care child and youth at the LVR Clinic. Most recently, she worked as a psychologist at the Regional School Counseling Center of the Wesel District. Dr. Titze has been appointed as a professor with a focus on applied psychology at the Faculty of Society and Economics at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. Her central research focus is the topic of emotion work, which is about the experiences, onset and processing of emotions as well as their effects on mental health in everyday work. The focus of the research is on educational professionals.
